Volunteer S.M.I.L.E Meeting

The January Volunteer meeting will be Wednesday, January 17th at 1:00pm in the cafeteria. Join us to see what all opportunities are available here at the center.

One-on-One Device Assistance

Nadine McMackin will be here on January 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th & 31st assisting seniors with any help they need with any device (i.e. phone, computer, tablet, etc). Members can call the front office at 423-392-8400 to sign up or come by the front office.

Tax Program

AARP Taxes

AARP – Tax Aide people will be here in February to do taxes. We do not have dates confirmed yet but will let you know in our February newsletter what those date swill be. Appointments will be scheduled on a first come basis until all slots are filled. An intake form will be able to be picked up starting in February and will need to be filled out before your appointment. All necessary documents need to be brought the day of your appointment. Make sure to bring your driver’s license, social security card and questionnaire with you on your scheduled appointment day.

The Kingsport Area Transportation System (KATS) will pick up members of the Senior Center Monday through Friday within the city limits of Kingsport. For more information, contact KATS at 423-224-2613 (KATS)
