Intermediate Crochet, Fridays, April 26 – May 31, 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Cost is $20.00 paid to instructor.Class is limited to 4 participants. Participants will make a sampler afghan that uses squares of different designs. Required supplies, a size H hook and four 7 ounce skeins of #4 worsted weight yarn (bring a main color (3) and (1) contrasting color). Limited to 4.

Beginner Card Making, Monday, May 20, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. We will use decorative napkins to make 4 greeting cards. Please bring scissors and your favorite paper adhesives. Cost is $12, paid to instructor: Lisa Pecorini.

Advanced Card Making, Monday, May 20, 12:00 – 2:00 pm. We will make 4 cards using various ‘Fun Fold’ techniques. Please bring adhesives and basic paper crafting supplies. Cost is $12 paid to Instructor: Lisa Pecorini. Max of 20.

Pressed Flowers, Wednesday, May 22, 10:00 am. Artisan Esther Richards will show participants how to arrange pressed flowers on rice paper, you will have
a choice of 5×7 frames and choice of flowers. Cost: $15.00, for supplies payable at sign up.

Hand Stamped Cards, Tuesday, May 21, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. We will create 3 hand stamped cards and incorporate removable stamped bookmarks that add a little something extra for your card recipients. Coloring with chalk, dry and wet embossing are a few of the techniques you’ll be doing in this class. All tools and supplies are provided however feel free to bring your own stamping tool kit. Relax and enjoy making cards and no prior experience is required. Project samples are on display in the office. Cost: $15, paid to instructor. Max 12.

Summer Holiday Shadowbox, Thursday, May 23, 10:00 am. Cost is $25 with frame, or $15 for refill only. Please bring adhesives and basic paper crafting supplies. Sample will be in the office. Max of 12 for this class.

Acrylic Painting, Wednesday, May 29, 11:00 am. Participants will paint a mason jar with fireflies. Cost is $15, paid to Instructor Sonia Garcia.

Felt Owl, Thursday, May 30, 11:00 am. Cost: $8.00, paid to Instructor artisan Betty Smith.

Silver Sneakers Classic, 10:00 am. Mondays and Wednesdays in the cafeteria. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available, if needed, for seated or standing support.

Silver Sneakers Classic, 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the cafeteria.

Core Conditioning, 9:00 am. Mondays and Wednesdays in the cafeteria. This is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, focused on core strength. Most sculpting classes use weight bars, exercise bands, dumbbells, or a combination of these gadgets. You perform traditional weight-training movements in a class setting.

Low Impact Aerobics, Fridays, Cafeteria, 9:00 am – 10:00 am.

Stretch & Flex!, Fridays, 10:00 – 11:00 am. Cafeteria. Enjoy stretching, increasing your flexibility & balance, & mastering the use of breath for greater fitness & relaxation. Includes some gentle yoga with exercises done while standing or seated in a chair – no floor work required! Optional floor exercises may be offered towards the end of class but these can also be chair-based – your choice! Bring a yoga mat if you have one to use alongside the chairs provided.

Pickleball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special Pickleball paddles, made of wood or high-tech aerospace materials. The ball used is similar to a whiffle ball but slightly smaller. The lower net and whiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, while still allowing more competitive players to test their mettle. This is Open Pickleball for all skill levels.

is on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Silver Sneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Room 239 at 9:30 am. Total Body Workout consists of upper and lower body exercises that trim, tone, and define muscle while giving you a good cardio workout.

Tuesdays: 11:00 am – 11:30 am.

Thursdays: 9:30 am – 11:30 am. (due to kids camp through July 21)

Mat yoga – includes breath, abdominal, and arm strength building.

Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Includes standing poses and gentle movements for strength and flexibility. Each class ends with relaxation.
