Volunteer S.M.I.L.E Meeting

The January Volunteer meeting will be Wednesday, January 15th at 1:00pm in the cafeteria. Join us to see what all opportunities are available here at the center.

library geek program

The Library Geek

The Library Geek will be here the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in the Computer Lab, from 10:30am – 12:00pm. If you have a computer, tablet or smart phone and have questions call and make an appointment today at 423-392- 8400.

Tax Program

AARP Tax Aide

AARP Tax Aides Volunteers will be at the Center again this year to do taxes. We do not have exact days set yet that they will be doing them but they do plan for signups to start in late January for appointments to start in February. Once appointments are made we will have the intake forms in the front office for you to come by and pick up and have filled out when you come for your appointment. All necessary documents need to be brought the day of your appointment. Keep watch on our website and in our newsletter for dates to be announced for sign ups.

The Kingsport Area Transportation System (KATS) will pick up members of the Senior Center Monday through Friday within the city limits of Kingsport. For more information, contact KATS at 423-224-2613 (KATS)
