Learn to Make a Quilt Block

In this class, you will learn how to make a 14×14 quilt block in a quilt as you go style. This is a make and take class. All materials are provided for this class, but you may bring your own fabric. Please bring a sewing machine if you have one – if not, one will be provided.
Abstract Painting

Beginner Knitting

Participants will make a sampler afghan that uses squares of different designs. Required supplies, a size H hook and four 7 ounce skeins of #4 worsted weight yarn (bring a main color (3) and (1) contrasting color). Limited to 4.
Halloween Costume Party

Decorative Tobacco Basket
Monday, November 2 | 10:00 am | Room 314 | $30
Beginner Level. This is a smaller recreated version of a tool used by tobacco farmers dry their crops. The original version of this tool would be nailed to a wooden hoop, making the basket sturdy enough to hold several pounds of tobacco while it dried. This version is strictly for decorative purposes.
Spades Tournament
